What do you think will happen to sales of the R1 next year?
Do you think Rossi will have a big impact on peoples decision making?
When I purchased my first R1 (a 2000 model) back in 2001, a deciding factor was the auroa of the bike, with so many being ridden off, it had to be a bloody good bike!

I think it's that lumpy dotty skin around the nipple.

Is there an aura in Euroa?

No, but I did see the Aurora Australis a few times (the Aussie version of the northern lights)

At a popular carnival...

In all seriousness now: I used to live out of town away from the lights and a few times it just showed up in the south western sky. Was awesome - one time on a moonless night it was so bright that it actually cast shadows! Unreal.

Yep - absolutely. It was a while ago - maybe 20 years back. If only there were mobile phones and digital cameras back then! The other awesome thing I saw up there was Halley's Comet. Again because there were no city lights anywhere nearby, the comet shone brightly for the months before and after the supposed "best" time (when it was nearest).
Ahhhhh that was the life: living in a caravan out in the sticks. I miss the simplicity of it all!
